Sanji is my favorite OP character tied with Franky but I will admit that his fans tend to glaze him way too much
His CoC reveal is objectively bad writing but they eat it up anyway because "It shows us that he hates himself and thinks he's worth nothing!!" even though we've known that for years

In case of Zoro FBs, we got content linked with CoC (His conversation with Mihawk and training) and his new PU was directly related to it.

We have seen Luffy training and he trains what his new haki PU would be

In Sanji's flashback case, it's about dodging and sustaining less injuries. And, I have no clue how it links with ACoC. It's more in tune with FS

Because the content of the flashback is Sanji loving himself which is the block that’s keeping him from using CoC. Sanji no longer letting himself take unnecessary damage imo is just supplementary.

If you really observe Sanji, it seems there are times when he could’ve clearly dodged and didn’t. However I’m not sure how it applies to the Killingham situation.

That's what's gonna drive his haoshoku awakening.
