Personally, I think it’s still too early for Sanji to get Conqueror’s Haki and immediately learn how to use it. Don’t you think that’s a bit too much? Take Zoro, for instance—he awakened his Conqueror’s Haki in Wano but didn't master it until an arc later. In my opinion, the best scenario would be for Sanji to awaken Conqueror’s Haki right now but remain unable to use it in battle (at least for this arc). It would be much cooler if Zoro rushed in to help Sanji finish off Killingham.
And it would be 1,000 times cooler if Shamrock arrived right after that, sparking a proper, full-scale fight for Zoro, instead of that disappointment we got with Sommers.
It is not too early, we are 2 arcs in final saga where things need to be wrapped up.
aCoC is the bare minimum for those Oda planned as handful of strongest.
There is no mystery about aCoC either, all you need to be aware of is that you can coat yourself into it, that's it. You are instantly an expert in it.
Zoro mastered it in Wano but Oda made him retarded in Elbaf, he simply has no other PUs planned for Zoro so stalled him with aCoC.
It's horrible that Sanji is having any trouble with Killingham, regardless of aCoC. If Oda plans to make Sanji into one of the strongest people in the show, struggling with such trash at this point is unthinkable.
Shamrock is probably saved up for Loki in WG war, Zoro can get another go at Imu instead.

Get yo ass out of here clown ffs :kobeha:

I want to be proven wrong, but I expect 1200 to be a big, wet fart: just another "I will be Pirate King!" from Luffy, only this time... he tells it to the King of the World. Whoa! Can you imagine that?! :hurry:
That's definitely on the menu & Oda loves to order it always,
But I hope it's something else, related to Chapter 100, because if Chapter 1100 brought us back to start of Luffy's Journey, with following chapter showing Bonney leaving her Island with a Punch, just like Chapter 1, and then in Chapter 1149 Imu arrives to Elbaph (Through Gunko), which is similar to Mihawk's sudden arrival in Chapter 49, I really hope Chapter 1200 is gonna be similar to Chapter 100 somehow,
Personally, I hope it's gonna Introduce a New Character, similar to how Dragon appeared in Chapter 100,

In East Blue Journey, Oda only brought Mihawk & Dragon out of Grand Line to meet SHs, I've always called them East Blue Duo,
And people forget that in First Island of Grand Line, Luffy & Zoro asked the question, which is Superior? Swordsmanship or Martial Arts?
This question goes beyond just Luffy & Zoro because They aren't Top Representatives of such Fighting Paths,
Who are? Obviously our East Blue Duo, Mihawk already got the Title, and Dragon is clearly his Equivalent in Non-Armed Combat,

+ 1000 Chapters Later, and those Two are still reserved last, not just that, but Mihawk & Dragon share more than people realize,
Revos Army is basically Neo Marines, and Cross Guild is Neo Pirates, both Mihawk & Dragon co-founded these Organizations with Two others,
Both Mihawk & Dragon trained someone who forms a Trio with Luffy (Zoro & Sabo), and there are many other parallels,

But regardless of whether I'm right or stretching things, I believe that Chapter 1200 should Introduce Imu's Parallel,
Because Luffy & Zoro's Fighting Styles don't only ask question about Swordsmanship vs Martial Arts, They also ask the question of Science vs Nature? Because Luffy names his Techniques mostly after Weapons & Tools, while most Zoro's Techniques are named after Animals & Mythical Beings, so Oda must show us the ceiling of Science/Weapon-Access, but also the ceiling of Nature & Creatures (Elbaph having those Strong World Animals is no coincidence, it's basically Gaimon's Island on Steroids, there is no way that there wasn't/isn't someone on Elbaph who have access to all Animals DNAs, especially when there is clearly an Ancient Laboratory there, far predating Void Century),

Imu is Ultimate Weapon, because He can throw at you any weapon created by Mankind,
I really hope Oda Introduces us to Ultimate Creature very soon, someone who can unleash any Creature on you, basically Kars from JoJo,

A child whose early life was defined by their family viewing them as a genetic failure may develop a deep seated defectiveness schema, internalizing the belief that something about their very existence is fundamentally wrong. The shame and self loathing that arise from this belief can manifest in self harming behaviors as a means of emotional regulation or self punishment, tendencies to tolerate mistreatment or allow harm to befall them, stemming from a subconscious belief that they are undeserving of care, protection, compassion or love. Which may provide a temporary sense of emotional release. Oda is having Sanji address this by redefining his sense of self. By moving from "I am a failure" to "No, I’m not. So, what am I?" and finally to "I’m a Straw Hat," Sanji is able to find self worth and self love through this identity. It's an important mental reframing.

Baratie taught him to let go of debts, develop agency and follow his dreams. WCI taught him to accept help and stop viewing himself as a burden. Wano taught him to make peace with the fact that he shares similarities with his siblings, while also understanding that his nakama wouldn’t want him to lose his identity, flaws and all. Now, the final piece of the puzzle is addressing his deep rooted schema of low self worth brought upon him by his father's abuse. I’d argue that Oda has been building towards Sanji’s COC awakening since WCI, and we can retroactively extend that development back to Baratie, even if Oda wasn’t thinking that far ahead at the time.

Childhood trauma isn't simple and won't be resolved in a 15 minute fight, it's a long and arduous process of rehabilitation, untangling a binding web of convoluted harmful idiosyncrasies. Only after Oda has resolved every aspect of Sanji's trauma does he allow him to become a Conqueror. So, while I don't see the writing as perfect it's definitely not subpar. And anyone who thinks Oda has been spinning the wheels on Sanji's mental conflicts hasn't taken the time to understand them. These are all very real psychological obstacles real people go through.

That would make sense if his worst fear was judge, or his germa side... it's actually ivankov noticing he gets hit by okamas for some reason.
Also, robin had a worse life, had the same character arc sanji had in WCI, but Oda never retconned her whole character retroactively.
Wanna know why? Cuz oda didn't know how to give him a power up

Just chill and let chill

Fun fact: the smarter you are, the more likely you are to doubt yourself a lot. Sanji has been established as a smart cookie since Alabasta, Zoro is canonically battle-smart, but would not excel in IQ tests, same as Luffy btw.

So Law CoC waiting room will need to wait a lot, he's too smart for his own good :pepemotion:

You mean to tell me Sanji haters have no idea how Sanji is developed throughout the story because they only look at pretty panels?
No way, mr piggy.
Inconceivable.
