Even the Admirals themselves admit their own inferiority.
All it tells me is that the admirals will have coc as well. They were saved for end game, none have gone all out, no word of coc or awakening, and considering their opponents will be conquerors chances are they will have it too or else whats even the point of saving them for so long? The prerequisite for making the rank probably demands having conquerors haki, theres several dozens of vice admirals and yet none of them could promote, is that because of lack of talent? They weren’t lucky enough to get a powerful fruit? Or is it because they lack the power of kings? I think the latter is more likely. The update to our understanding of conquerors has opened the door to many that you wouldn’t expect, people like Buggy or Ivankov have that potential but not an admiral? Is Law necessarily out of the question?

Awakening was 1st mentioned in chapter 544 by Crocodile, pointing out that the Impel Down beasts were Awakened
So it's been a whopping 650 chapters without even 1 confirmation of Admirals having Awakening
But, that doesn't mean its a good idea to think they don't have or will never get it for the remainder of the series

Overall.....the closest thing to a confirmation for Admirals' Awakenings, is Punk Hazard island/arc
For CoC, its Kuzan vs Garp clash, Sengoku's Vivre Card and Garp's ACoC showings in Hachinosu and God Valley
Aight.....not that bad.

The problem with coating is that 0 people showed it before Oden flashback. Shanks/WB clashed, Kaido/BM clashed, 0 CoC coating. So we can't say X or Y has it, without seeing them fight post the reveal.
I ultimately think every CoC user in their 40s will be able to use ACoC. Obviously it won't be some Top Level Haki, just basic coating like Yamato. That's what people confuse. No one is saying Katakuri or Doflamingo or whoever else will have Rooftop Luffy level ACoC.
