Not surprising at all to be honest.

To be honest since Wano I always feel that the antagonists will fail to deliver, that prevents me from being inevitably let down.

I've been quite well consistent in saying there has to be a drawback. If they had powers like a Logia-esque regeneration that only Conqueror's Haki can overcome, besides the super modes and magic weapons *and* were great fighters, they completely would break the series.

Yeah, but they were presented as such by Dragon...so naturally, we expected them to be more of a menace. Still, pre-Omen Killingham and Sommers were dismembered and pretty much defeated as soon as M3 entered the scene. I probably expected what we have right now with boosted Killingham vs Sanji to be their base.

The thing is, though, is the aforementioned regeneration. Because if you don't have Conqueror's Haki, then you can't beat them. *Maybe* Seastone could work, but it's still not 100% certainty if the Covenant is really from Imu's DF or possibly something else, like the "National Treasure".

Sanji, Franky and Jinbe didn't have CoC when they first dismembered and then tied Killingham. So... As long as you're strong enough, you can incapacitate them, but not defeat them fully. But if their DF are a good counter to yours, you're going to have a lot of problems (like Sommers vs Robin was an easy win for Sommers).
