Homies would be piece of cake for the crew at this point... They have worse opponents now... Who are the opponents left? Imu and his forces who have regeneration and immortality with Haki, Blackbeard Pirates who have insane DF abilities and can use Haki, Red Hair Pirates who probably have abilities similar to the SHs but can use advance Haki... It's Haki spam era in OP's storyline... Those six are Hakiless yet there are abilities that needs more than knowing Haki at this point...
They need babysitters since they can't use even basic CoA that some random fodder Marines or lackeys can use... Robin got easily defeated by Sommers just because she can't defend her sprouts due to no coating...
That would be Yamato and Loki... One would probably fall into an ally but definitely not all... Even with Nami and Usopp having CoC, they cannot fight them since they aren't ACoC users and never will be one...
Regeneration is one thing, CoC is probably enough... Their heart and the Gorosei's immortality, probably needs ACoC...
Yamato4Nakama movement will never fade out until the final chapter... And we need to thank Sanji for having CoC at this point so there won't be any blockage for Yamato joining...

This "SH will the strongest crew hence XY character must join" seems like cope to me
I am the biggest believer of this theory but people instead looking at the manga just headcanon things.
The strongest Crew we saw in the story so far was Rocks. We also saw them in their prime, before they broke
The second, fourth and fifth strongest member were running away from garp, a single marine
From what happened in egghead with sanji chosing to clash with an admiral this is already disproven given the top members of the crew would not run away like this

If Hinokizu knows where the last Road Poneglyph is, if not outright has or hid it, then it gives an end goal incentive to have a Davy Back Fight to get a copy. Then the extra incentive would be getting another crewmate during the Davy Back Fight. Now if that crewmate happens to be a certain Jaguar Mink, I won't complain.
