Kaido got character points this chapter. He really has a relationship of respect,care and friendship with his crew. This need be more explored this arc.

Strength was not my point. He just isnt part of WG/SN which seem to be the focus of the arc.
And regarding no 1vs1s, it's not just Sanji, nobody will get them, possibly...
We were wrong from expecting those in the first place in a setting like big war and also it's smart not to fight in 1vs1...
It's unrealistic to have them in open battlefield with 40k warriors unless the numbers go down fast and ppl get separated...

You are actually right on these ones. Most of the big guns are Ancient Zoan users and 1v1 with them would take hours, maybe a day or two, which definitely is not advantageous for the alliance. Finishing them faster and with more damage is better, which require tag teams in this case. Props mate!!

I think Sulong Inu and Neko by themselves are a high to extreme diff fight for Kaido. I also think they're admiral level. I don't see Kaido beating the scabbards without foul play.

I agree, power-scalling is bad but sometimes Oda just make some bad writing moves.

Sanji is neither Worst Generation nor Supernova so Oda will give him someone like Perospero with who he has some grudge...
Besides, a swordsman vs Sanji is impossible because Sanji simply gets low diffed...
Even when plot babysits him he is still a hype tool for King...
There is also a possibility that not a single enemy will be taken out in 1vs1...

I dont think people are saying sanji going to 1v1 king.... but the way things are looking, sanji could be involved in the fight against King. Zoro wants to fight Kaido with Luffy.... Perospero and Sanji have no connection bro.....
