Leadership-wise Luffy is horrible. Always putting his Crew into unnecessary danger. The only Thing Luffy is good at, is understanding People. Even tho it's sometimes weird, but he is the MC, doesn't matter what he say, everyone will be like ''OH, what a great guy! Gonna follow him now for no reason!''.

The only smart Thing he ever said was ''Everyone! RUN! We can't win against These guys Right now!'' (at sabaody). This is the only Thing Luffy ever does, saying ''charge'' or ''run back to the sunny''...but People say what a great leader he is?

you don't know a thing or two about what it means to be a leader....can't be helped with "such wisdom" you possess.....

Yeah, i dont think there is any substance to actually make that claim.

at syrup village, luffy charged ahead of everyone. Nami pushed zoro down the slope where they spread the oil. Both still arrived at the same time at the other slope to fight the kuroneko pirates.

In the real world it's Jinbei. He's smart, he's powerful, he's successfully led the Sun Pirates for ten odd years and he doesn't have any glaringly psychotic faults like most of the other Strawhats.

In One Piece it's Luffy, because One Piece leadership focuses more on him being the heart that holds the group together and being stronger than the rest.

Don't think so Oda doesn't need to confirm every logical aspect in the manga that is intuitive :cheers: he ll need to talk non-stop for weeks
