Why is Oda making Kaido and BM so similar?

Both super hard to damage
Both have their crazy mode craving food/getting drunk
Pretty much seems like same elemental powers

No lie i think it's kinda lame...thought Kaido will be more like WB...df, weapon and whole lot of badass, but his df seems to be same as BM where Oda can come up with all kinds of bullshit powers

Lack of creativity I guess. It kinda sucks because One Piece originally was meant as a story against the Yonko.

Now the Yonko are just a bore stuffed between Doflamingo and EOS Blackbeard, the real creative villains.

Mihawk is the WSS in name and actuality. There's not a single panel of Shanks using a weapon that's not a sword nor did he ever kick or punch someone in combat.

Yeah true...but it just feels like Kaido and BM power set is the same

It appears so. They clashed equally when both were hiding their best, this nevertheless suggests that they are legitimately on the same general level, both being very versatile with their devil fruits.

This theory has yet to be proven however, and I'm sure both will go all out in this arc.
