LOL the first panel is proof against Luffy, it implies he isn’t a samurai.

None of them are Samurai. They're not Wano citizens. But it shows Luffy WANTING to take that role. And like Oden he could hear Voice of All Things, had Conqueror's Haki, advanced Ryou, etc...

I agree that Zoro has to wound Kaido somehow but having him defeat the main antagonist of this arc and one of the strongest pirates alive is just delusional.
Honestly i think Kaido might not even die this arc unless Big Mom betrays him or Blackbeard shows up.

(2) Voice of all things (Oden's ability)

(3) Advanced Ryou (Oden's ability)

Hyogoro literally said Wano was filled with men like Luffy before Kaido. Luffy calls himself a "Samurai" and says he will "cut down Kaido".

Zoro kills, his dream isnt to die, he wants to die in a big way. The whole arc is geared for kaido to die.

I don't think it will only be Luffy who takes him down. Kaido did say he is waiting for someone stronger than Oden. And we probably will have multiple people taking him down. Luffy taking Kaido down won't be a samurai taking him down anyway even if oda makes him solo him.. it will be a pirate taking down a pirate, already king this chapter has distinguished pirates and the samurai. I don't think we need to take his words that "spoils his end" a samurai is the one who will take them down, whoever the one is. Of course, it is possible that maybe after the pirate group fights Kaido the scabbards might again come for their final act though they are worn out. There are still things we don't know like what Kaido's end will be, who knows it could momo he would be facing Kaido as he defeated(maybe he does something which led to it etc...hopefully not). The way Kaido described fighting Oden or waiting for someone like Oden may not necessarily be an individual like how he was equating the whole scabbards to Oden. Though I hope it's not like just make Luffy that samurai when he is seen as a pirate.

He just said this chapter that he wouldn't have minded if the Scabbards killed him. That would not have been in some big flashy way, when the only people there to witness it would have been a few fodder Beast Pirates.
