Powers & Abilities On Zooan forms

#1
Full Zooan form = Physically stronger form (usually biggest) and maximum capability for destruction. Mostly used to fight multiple targets.

Base form = Best agility/speed but weakest in physical strength. Zooan DFs usually make you bigger and slow you down, thereby reducing your agility. Best to land a slow finisher in 1 v. 1. Best to use a weapon. Think Thunder Bagua or for Katakuri Mochi Drill. Katakuri's not a Zooan but he gave up his awakening skills to land the finisher.

Hybrid form = Best balanced, but not the strongest or the fastest. Just the best combo. Used for 1 v. 1 fights (to wear out opponent).

There is no form that is "strongest". Saying Full Zooan form is the weakest is fucking stupid, because there'd be no point to using your DF.

Two things:
1. For normal Zoans the user would have to be a complete fodder in order for that "Full Zoan form"-rule really making a case. If the user is any strong, the full Zoan form becomes entirely useless.
When it's about ancient Zoans this ratio tips far more in favour for the full Zoan form. They are incredible tough, strong, gigantic and durable afterall. Even if the user is pretty strong himself, fighting a group of weaker guys, would probably be better in full Zoan form.

2. The hybrid mode is in almost all cases, for both normal Zoans and ancient Zoans, the most powerful. While full Zoan forms for ancient Zoans might end up being bigger with more range and tankiness than their hybrid forms at times, the benefits of the hybrid form straight up outweigh this aspect.
At some point of time blocking and dodging stuff and simply beating the oppoents one after another, becomes the wiser decision. Same thing Kaido now is starting to do, even though Kaido's full zoan form even is unproportionally powerful.
It's not like they are immune to sword slashes and guns, they just can take them better, but even that has a limit.
If they are up against non fodder guys, they will be mortally wounded in no time reamining in that form.

Funny thing is, that jack who fell prey to this trap, will probably be the only one who will even end up double the size of his full zoan form in hybrid form. Like seriously, he will outshine every single stat of his full Zoan and base form. He's pretty much the one who will completely defy the logic of this thread.

Hybrid form is the fastest.

Brain Point = Hybrid

Heavy Point = Full Zoan.

That should have conclusively ended every argument. It depends on the animal, a full Dino is better than a hybrid Dino while a full Wolf is worse than a hybrid wolf.

How so? Unless you have a speed based animal, hybrid will make you bigger i.e. slower.

Like I said, if you have a finisher that is slow but strong to land, you use base form (Thunder Bagua, Mochi Drill).

"Hybrid" means mixture. Mixture of full zooan and base. You can't be bigger in hybrid. Hybrid is a compromise between those two.

Why would the fruit make them sliwer thats surpose to improve their physical attributes of both human and animal. Your legs should be stronger, you should be at your best condition. I guess we will find out in these upcoming fights. I don't think king is faster in base then in Zoan. Idk its weird tbh

The bigger you are, the less agile you are. At least in proportion to yourself.

Full ancestral Zoans are useful mainly because they provide more body defense / durability due to the large volume of muscle mass, in addition to physical strength, of course.

As for ordinary zoans, I don't see the full form with so much advantage and usefulness, that's why Dalton, Pell, Chaka, Lucci, Kaku and Jabura never used full zoan to fight.

How can you be so wrong?

Hybrid is a combination of the Zoan form and the human form ...hence strongest

See Cp9 Lucci, Kaku and Jabra,. The strongest form is Hybrid. That is why Oda is keeping that of Calamities and Kaido for the end.
You're comparing a Tiger, a wolf, and a giraffe to a *checks notes*. A fucking Dragon, A Dinosaur, A Pterosaur, and a Wooly Mammoth? Just to clarify.

And you're also saying Chopper's strongest form is...Brain Point?

Chopper is a special case since he altered it with Rumble balls. But yes Hybrid > Full Zoan. That is why they are revealed last.

Not all full Zoans are really strong though.

All Lucci did was maul Luffy’s shoulder and he tossed him off just fine.

Full Wolf Jabra would do jack shit against Sanji and neither would Full Giraffe form on Zoro. The latter even says that he would cut his neck off with ease if he wanted to.

Choppers brain point existed before rumble balls were even invented.

Also, that's inaccurate because we never even see some Full Zoan forms -- see Jabra. Lucci's appeared in a blink and you'll miss it moment, more than three volumes after he had shown off his OG fruit, we didn't even see Pekoms' Zoan powers that much other than hybrid.

The moment the Beasts Pirates actually fight their final versus they will more than likely rely 99% of the time on their hybrid forms, just like virtually any other character bar a couple of exceptions that can't define the whole class for obvious reasons.

And we did see it, and Jabra only resorted to it in order to entertain people.

Can you not see how that doesn't really change anything of substance? Yes, most will fight in their Hybrid form because it takes the best of both worlds *some* if the time, but it's not applicable across the board and Zoans with Ancient forms prefer to go Full Zoan for max effect in combat. See, Ulti who went from Hybrid to full form for more power

Which is why I mentioned their final versus. "Max effect in combat" is what they all will pursuit in a definitive battle in which Oda won't need to restrain himself from showing their hybrid designs. If those ancient zoan don't resort to hybrid in an all-out fight then you may have a point, until then what we've truly seen is that virtually any serious fight that requires a zoan's max combat effect ends up with the user going hybrid.
