Speculations Ice Oni Zoro will be unleashed

It's honestly not based on anything other than Zoro being described as "Oni/demon" as we all know

This new plague made by Queen creates "Ice Demon" that attack indiscriminately according to Queen's words






What's more interesting about it are the attributes it gives to the person infected!

According to Chopper, it increases ferocity + muscle mass while freezing the skin....also he explained that that type of stress is not something easily handled by those fodders...

Which is why I had the idea that "what if someone of Zoro's caliber" got infected with it.... Zoro usually can handle LOTS of stress as we know... his body is well-trained... and currently Queen thinks the plague cannot get out from the underground floor where the bunch ice demons are, but I believe that he did not count for the existnce of a MONSTER there in that level, who already can cut his way up by himself, let alone having turned into a "bersekrer Ice Demon"

I feel honestly that Zoro will have an "epic berserker Ice demon" moment in the upcoming chapters. and it will be one of the major highlights where he goes on a huge rampage

It is possible he might get touched when trying to protect someone.
What is interesting is that this scene mirrors what happened in Udon.
We have Zoro and Hyo in the same area in one of Queen's games just like Luffy and Hyo who dealt with another game and another plague

Chopper was also there for both maybe he will have to make an antidote after all

If it happens it will be the other side of Luffy's coin.
Heat plague - Luffy.
Cold plague - Zoro.
As for its purpose, it is an effective plot element to stall Zoro if it makes him attack friends and foes alike.

Also, creates the tension of the main character having a chance to die.
If it ends up a ridiculous buff mirroring Nightmare mode from Luffy, then it might come to play a lot later when unforeseen development takes place - lurking legend appearing and nobody having the strength/stamina to deal with him, then a ridiculous buff from plague can help.

I could definitely see a scenario in which Oda has Zoro get infected, by the ice oni and have Zoro remain consciousness , and fight Queen in that form and forever people will be arguing whether or not it was nerf or a power up for Zoro. A Very Oda thing to do honestly........

Interesting take but Zoro is already demon ish aura and shit like that. I wouldn't be surprised if Zoro has 0 effects after being hit with that shit.

Although it would be funny.
