Big Mom knocked Bound Man unconscious after one clash. Marco fought Big Mom offscreen for 3-4 chapters, damaged Prometheus, and got caught.

What happens off screen is not something we can judge. Unless they started on screen, then it went off screen and when switching back, still being at it. So we don't know when they started. The conclusion is all that matters.

Harming a homie isn't necessarily noteworthy because harming them is situational and depends on their weakenesses. Jinbe can harm Prometheus because he uses water. Brook can harm her homies because he has soul powers. And Marco because he has his phoenix flames. But if Big Mom trashed him, gg.
