To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dolzenabring 666. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Hex's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike D666 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Taita's existencial catchphrase "jaderbadar" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as greatness unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Hex Bozoline tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
So what? Pandora Hearts in hundred times better....like imagine like you read story where heroes dying all time, that you even don't know what to expect in next chapter?! Imagine manga that include a lot of mysterious that was hidden, but always was concluded in plot, and when you reareading it you just keep saying...WOW that was here, in early chapters ...but how?! Wow! Imagine manga with hell beautiful art style. This manga is beyond anything you ever read. It has it's own humor and style....and even if story was written in the way that include all mysteries from the begining, reader didn't feel dumb, actually when you reading it, you think about different thing, like plot showes you...and you even don't expect that every character is lying to you(and even if you know that it's still doesn't help). But when everything will be reaveled your mind will broke...this will be more than anything that yoi could expect...you will just say WOW. But then again...don't expect happy ending...mangaka will just destroy your feelings, destroy your thougths and you will still ask more. That is Junn for ya!
And yes, Pandora Hearts is finished manga...so I coukd tell you this for sure, that it never lose it's greatness.
