Ulti has been such a great character so the thought of her and Page One getting the same treatment that Speed and Babanuki got from Tama makes me sad.

I think the introduction of Tama is going to serve as a means to give Usopp and Nami a reason to overcome Ulti and Page One. Or at least that's what I am hoping. Usopp has always been at his strongest when protecting others.

Haki doesn't negate DF abilities, it's been pretty clear till now. We have seen Marco recover from getting his brains blown out, so the arrow really wasn't going to do much, except wear down his regeneration reserves(which might have been the plan).

I didn't say Haki negates his powers but it sure does more to him than regular attacks. Otherwise there is no point in being agitated about an arrow from Perospero when you're in front of Big Mom herself.

It represents the same thing though. Luffy's crowning achievement in WCI was taking down Katakuri. We the readers know that. It had to be spun differently from a narrative perspective, because Blackbeard had at least a year to prep and build himself up in the eyes of the people, while Oda needed to get Luffy to that point much quicker due to time constraints.

you also had the fact the marco and remnant of wb pirates were slated as people that could stop bb alongside the yonkos

bb would be considered unofficially an emperor before the war
(where luffy is rn)

not the case with luffy and katakuri.

That's the thing, you don't need haki to hurt Marco, normal non-haki attacks can hurt him since he has a physical body and not a logia one.

Marco is not a logia, he has a physical body. His flames power is to regenerate, haki cannot nullify that power.
Same way haki won't stop mochi from being sticky.
