Imagine that the suit would be unscatched after a Planet lvl attack (an attack powerfull enough to destroy a planet, Earth size let's say) and Sanji has Mountain lvl durability (durability to take an attack powerfull enough to destroy a mountain).
Now, let's say someone with Moon lvl AP hits, punches him, what will happen?
-The suit would be intact, no damage. Since Planet lvl durability > Moon lvl AP
-Sanji inside the suit would remain as a pool of blood. Yeah, literally, the suit would only have blood inside. Or maybe no, even blood would not remain. The blood maybe would get evaporated entirely!
Since Moon lvl AP >>>>>>> Mountain durability
Why this would happen? Cause the suit are "clothes", a flexible material. When the guy with that punch hits Sanji's suit, the cloth of the suit would stick to Sanji's body, the punch would push it against his body, and the impact/energy of it will travel through it, so Sanji would took the AP of that punch.

Same behavior/working/mechanics as the example I already posted.

And I'm glad for chapter like this, case if duet would just defeate P1 and Ulti people will just call em weak. But now things clearly will change, and if Nami and Usopp duo the power ups will defeate em, that would meam that they became hell out stronger. That is how good fight should be written. Not like Robin who is threwing Younko. Those moments of Nami acting that brave could awake her haki. Like yes, people called her a coward, but what coward will say words like that facing death?! King isn't a bird, yeah. And yes, his beak is probably quite good at piercing people, hence why he was explicitly trying to open a hole with it. You are seeing a very sharp, pointy mouth sinking in the suit as King tries to open a whole in Sanji's stomach and you are telling me that "wow so he's now a spear?". In fact, if you were honest here you'd see that King's beak is pretty much drawn as a jousting lance.

His durability hasn't prevented his body from being deeply pierced by way weaker opponents. It is clearly because of the suit that he survived that with no scratch at all, unless now Mr. 2's shoes have more attack power than a high speed plummeting by King.
