Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but the one who tried to stop saving him from Momo was King and Sanji did mention flying users at the spread. Your last 2 points are ass, but indeed a fighter that doesn't fly would be a faster fight for Zoro.

Bro, with enough force, even your punch can pierce something. My point is that this thing is wide. Maybe he has piercing power in the right circumstances, but in thase panels it was just a blunt attack. King needs a target big enoug to use his beak as a spear or whatever.

I thought he would need barrier haki for that. He's actually strong as fuck. Nice.. Their clashes/their fight is now officially my second most hyped plot line, besides Luffy vs Kaido.
And this chapter proves what everyone and their mothers were telling Zorobois all the time.
His initial haki strength isn't that special.. He's just better at controlling his haki flow, even now prolly much better, so he beats others out by using more haki than them. Period.

Marco+Vista vs. Akainu: Akainu shape shifts around their sneak attack from a serious and alarmed Marco and Vista

There is. Mere commanders won't take that much time.
Only reason Pica didn't get fodderized soon is because he ran. A tank fighter that stays on the ground is literally the fastest matchup Zoro could ever ask for.
Never said he needed to fly, that's your saying. I said he'll take more time with someone that flies than with someone on the ground.
