I agree with this, but with an added caveat. Luffy receives aid from others because of his philosophy on being King. Like regular non-Luffy pirates, Kid seems to be set on hoarding the glory and fame that goes with being Pirate King, which gets him shunned. He'd probably refuse aid either way, but it's never really offered. I had similar thoughts on the difference between Luffy and the other WG member after Robin's "Luffy doesn't care about the WIll of D" last week.

I think Luffy might never become individually stronger than emperors or admirals, but he'll always receive help that'll make him king. As he's not actually trying to become a traditional king. In One Piece's world, that's the most terrifying power like Mihawk said.

It's an interesting way to incorporate "plot armor" in your narrative, but unfortunately Luffy doesn't get appreciated among some hardcores because of it.

I still think he could surpass/match the Admirals and Yonko by series end. I don't think Luffy's strength is too relevant in the face of overwhelming numbers or global systems. Even the strongest man in the world, Newgate, was taken down by the combined efforts of multiple people, and after he had told his crew to leave Marineford and shoulder the burden alone. A mighty force will always win out over a powerful individual. Luffy's ability to make allies so naturally is what makes him so dangerous, and will help him not just beat an Admiral, who can be replaced as seen during the world wide draft, but topple the whole regime that influences everything.

I think Sanji does a lot of training in the kitchen though. It doesn't take all day to make food, and if it becomes monotonous you can incorporate training into it.

I think Sanji was just a late gainer unlike his siblings. He has the germa genetics with the gains and fire ability that comes with it.

I think the Germa scientist said that the genetic modifications failed for Sanji, he is 100% normal.

Besides, it's lame if Sanji's power comes from experiments, that goes against the message that Sanji is strong without Germa(even though RS shits on it)

Dude, Sanji kicked the cake with one leg and propelled himself up in the air with it across the bay vs Zoro lifting a building onto an ovberhead position, he did not even lock out the lift. It does not even qualift as an overhead press lift. He threw it against Mr.1 screaming his guts out. He never overhead pressed it

Sanji's lifting strength is much better Sanji flew with the shit. Zoro ain't coming close to that. Zoro never even locked out the lift whereas Sanji could throw 600 ton chains in TB while let's for argument sake say just as injured

That cake like I showed weighed 7 metric tons but Sanji’s Cake is compact, significantly bigger, including the hundred or so people, the walrus, the cart, Sanji was carrying it across the bay hundreds of meters to meet-up with Bege, everything with one leg. This was a neg diff lift. Lifting something of that size and thrusting your way that far with it, Sanji is a bigger lifter than Zoro

@Chrono you think Sanji is doing a lot of isometric weight training in the kitchen. Sanji is doing heavy lifts bigger than Zoro
