Yeah it's an amazing movie, pissed off both political sides also, that's a plus ahah.
When it comes to Joaquin's performance, its an AMAZING performance. The Joker ain't a badass like Heath Ledger but for what the director wanted to do with this movie, he was a perfect fit in my opinion and made one of the best roles in the history of cinema, in my personal opinion (and I love cinema and watched almost all classics).
When comparing to Heath's performance, people are taking sides but forgetting that even if they played the same characters, they both played completely different roles. Joaquin was a mentally disturbed guy with a difficult guy becoming the Joker as a protagonist, while Heath played the mysterious, chaos-lover Joker as an antagonist.
Both, in my opinion, had 10/10 roles for what they did and the director wanted them to do.
Still prefer Heath's Joker aha.
