They may have have a feud that started for a petty reason, or perhaps Vista has a special disdain for the ones who abandon their families, that he may be loyal to Whitebeard and his nakamas but that he would have never abandonned his wife and kid(s) if he had these.

On a serious note. If they are related they would know about each other as much as Usopp knows about his fater. Which means they only know they are related.

There is one panel I think where they look at each other with this "satiric Huh?" on their faces.

Maybe they just got under each other skin in the past.

Vista was already part of Whitebeard's crew 30 years ago

Yasopp met Shanks far later than that, Usopp was born 19 years ago

There's not a world in which Vista has even met Yasopp's wife

We still need some serious Sniper battle in OP. Literally every mid-tier+ character is either bullet proof or has faster reflexes. From the looks of it, no sniping battle in Wano arc too. I'm hoping Yassop and Van Augur will show us the way of bullets.
Regarding the topic, no clue. They might have been a childhood friend or something but Vista set sailed earlier than Yassop.
