That’s not learning from your mistakes, that’s being an idiot, learning from your mistake means not doing the same thing again. Pirate alliances don’t end well and they won’t end well even in Luffy’s case, you’ll see.
Luffy and Zoro are simpletons yet they don’t have this issue, imagine Zoro never learned any techniques for post timeskip, everyone would lose their minds, now that it’s about Kid people in this thread want to say he’s a simpleton and attack his character when he’s not at fault for it but Oda being lazy with him.

It’s too early to really make any judgement on his powers right now imo. Let’s wait to see what he does with it when he reaches the roof with Luffy in a couple of chapters. I’m honestly expecting some crazy shit, I think y’all are sleeping hard on him tbh. My only thing that I’m not liking is that it’s looking like his power could be heavily reliant upon his environment. The fact that he’s literally dragging metal with him to the roof kind of proves it too. I really want to see what he can do with his magnetism when there’s no metal around.
I expect at the very least he’ll make some type of haki infused metal armor. He’ll probably make a giant mech or something with awakening too. If his power is really electromagnetism like some say he’ll probably use a railgun as one of his ultimate attacks.

Everyone of the WG members bar the strawhats did the same when you mention surviving the new world without training.
Arguably even Law did more then Kidd in the new World, since he not only got a bounty that was comparable to Kidd while frozen, he also became a shichibukai via the rocky port incident.
For someone who's supposedly built up to Luffy's rival, he's been lackluster at best.

The only thing I will give props is injuring a Sweet commander then dipping. That's pretty decent showing, even though it was off screen.

Oda even hates this guy man. His alliance gets destoryed by a snitch who he has history with since Shonbondy in Apoo, his whole crew gets beaten and captured, his WG subordinate gets fed a failed smile, then he vows to revenge for all of this.
Yet someone else gets to take the glory while he fails to do so. Oda hates this man.
No notable Ws. No notable feats. No notable movements.
I will keep hating and I will keep denying his role in the story. In the past 2 years and however many months he's not made more progress then the strawhats nor Law.
Power? He will probably show off soon. I'm even hoping that he will.
Relevant to the plot? Don’t know about that one tbh, but we can all hope.
