Ace after ID torture matched Kuzan After all. Not surprise if he did better than Luffy against Kaido.

He only matched Kuzan because his fire df was a good counter to Kuzan's ice df. And Ace would have faced Kaido long before even becoming a commander of the Whitebeard Pirates while Luffy did fight Kaido after taking on Cracker and Katakuri in the previous arc.
So that would be just ridiculous.

▪Kid with a free shot couldn't put down apoo despite using a named attack vs Zoro made him fainting on panel and Zoro caught the antidote and he gave it to Chopper talked to him chopper talked to ppl to calm the storm and queen wanted to attack but he got embrassed by Zoro who said his speech and the earth quake happened and marco came all of that while apoo wzs fainted from a no named attack used against Hody useless mid needs to train
