I doubt that. We saw the damage Sanji could do to Luffy when Luffy didn't defend. It was a very short fight. Dressrosa G2/3 Luffy is not that strong.

Before Luffy said "G4" In chapter 783, Did you really not believe Luffy was stronger than Sanji? Cause that's a wild take tbh. We've seen Luffy in G2 do things that Sanji does in Diable Jambe...

I don't think it's forced, because that was Ace's schtick. He sought out the strongest to fight them. If anything, it would feel displaced if he was in the land of where the World's Strongest Creature lives for weeks, and no conflict came about it.
