Speculations Do you think Kaido will die at the end of this arc?

That seems to be the case, but then if you look at it deeper, Marineford was all about saving Ace, but ultimately he died in the end.
In Wano it's all about killing Kaido. So if Wano is meant to serve as a counterpoint to Marineford, then wouldn't that mean he ultimately lives in the end?

My prediction in another thread was Mont D'ors book prison coming into play. If Kaido truly is a Dragon, then Big Mom might not pass up the opportunity to add him to her collection. And seeing as the prison seems to exist in a different time space, it would be something Kaido would not be able to brute force his way out of.

that would be the most disrespectful way to go but its also what kaido deserves.

kaido or big mom perhaps both allying with eos luffy with his crew /fleet to take down the marines/cp0 is sure to open up some serious powerscaling convos as well. last I heard just one of those would have been enough for mf. now am supposed to believe 2 would be needed in addition to pk luffy?

cant see why he doesnt do that early on in the battle anyway if thats all it takes to end kaido
Law was able to cut through seastone i don't see why he couldn't cut through kaido
The only thing that really stops his attacks is strong enough haki and if kaido is knocked out and not using haki hed cut him

Kaidou HAS to die, it doesn’t HAVE to be by Luffys hand(I actually 100% believe it won’t be by Luffys hand) but he MUST die. He’s way too powerful to jus be allowed to roam around free, and we know that he’s escaped tha marines and executions before. Along with his ambitions put tha world at risk so he being around would jus have a ticking time bomb hanging over tha series
Doffy is a non factor against Luffy now along with basically everyone who Luffy fought before this point. That doesn’t hold true for Kaidou, Luffy will(most likely) never reach a point where Kaidou or someone of Kaidous strength is a non factor for em

The scabbards will get a second wind, mark my words. They’re down but they’re not out, Kid mid-diffs Zoro at best, you’re not very bright to suggest he alone can bring down Kaido though, no one is killing Kaido by themselves, when I say Kid will kill him, I’m talking about delivering a final blow after he’s already greatly weakened or defeated by Luffy, it’s going to take a team effort to beat him but imo Kid or the Scabbards will put him out of his misery, or BB will come to collect his DF.
Ya’ll sleeping on Kid hard, Zoro is a good character but he’s trash compared to most supernova captains, he ain’t touching Kid.
They have much more importance than him this arc and I’d argue Kid has equal importance to Zoro in the story, he’s going to become the strongest in OP world next to Luffy at the end of the series.
