One Piece - Chapter 999 : The Sake I Brew While Waiting for You

I still stay close to my "prediction" for 1000, King and Queen will stop Marco and He is going to drop Zoro on top of Queen, Luffy won't be able to go through the elevator because Kidd has already destroyed it, Luffy will try to go through the hole again from the top of the castle but he will see Marco, and Marco is going to get him through the hole, King will attack Marco but Sanji is going to block him in the air. I will that my prediction got a little boost from this chapter by seeing how Marco really wanted to go with Ace, so it makes sense to me that he will be the one to get Luffy to the top. At the end of the chapter Luffy clashes with Kaido/Big Mom or Luffy,Law and Kidd are face to face with Big Mom and Kaido.

No one is saying people aren't entitled to their opinions but me thinking Buggy is gonna kill Kaido is clownish, same with Zoro. I just think the fallout will be funny af when it doesn't happen.

There is massive build up for Zoro vs Kaido. (Which cannot be denied)

I’m a Zoro-fan, and personally not 100% certain he will kill him but there is more build up for Zoro compared to Kid or Buggy.

What I’m confused about, is the fandom crapping itself on Zoros achievements and downplaying before it even happens.

I don't think Kaido is dying at all. That's the BIGGEST stretch for me.

But I think from a Narrative standpoint Oda is placing Kid and Luffy on the same footing which is why I think he has the capacity to hurt Kaido. It really makes no sense for Kaido to fuck Kid on the alliance. put him in prison, make Killer take SMILE and Kid get no narrative come-uppance with all of this happening. That's why IF(big IF) Kaido was to die it would be Kid. If Kid doesn't kill or hurt Kaido then his whole chaacter arc is pointless. Zoro will almost certainly reopen Kaido's wound tho and Zoro doesn't need to kill Kaido to complete his arc

Who's rivaled with the main character of who is going to take out Kaido. Luffy's only competent rival in the supernova's. Kid's ENTIRE character revolves around what has happened with Kaido.

According to Ace, Trafalgar D. was wreaking havoc in the North Blue before hitting the Grand Line. Above Hawkins, above XDrake. In the most stacked sea by far. Kid in South and Bege in West are all well and good but North Blue is on another level. The D stands for danger.

As neutral fan i think oda has put it out zoro and sanji are on same base even though their ambitions are different in the end it really doesnt matter they have to play their part and their roles are different.

kid is a side character . He is not a rival to luffy . Rivals have to be on even standing and kid has jack shit on luffy . Kid has to prove he’s on zoros level before you start talking about luffy . He’s bringing scrap metal to a ryou fight . This is luffy and zoros fight . Kid will be a cheerleader

Kidd is nowhere near Luffy's rival and arguably weaker than Zoro Also Law had a way bigger beef Doffy and didn't kill him the difference between Zoro is he is one of the main main characters.
