You actually stand a point on Jack man and I thought about that too. This chapter won't necessarily feature Luffy v Kaido and Big Mom, but at the same rate I also see it unlikely since it's still freaking 1000. I expect a speech to occur, however something should happen then because the two of them would decimate Luffy on a 2v1. So I think it could be like the umpteenth declaration of war in the story coming from Luffy. I just hope we won't get Luffy flashbacks however.

Need to see how luffy's haki has grown post training period.

Pretty sure it will be beyond ko now. This fight could be treat i reckon. Only thing i am worried is big mom what is her role here will she watch or gets distracted by someone.

Marineford´s biggest weakness, as you rightfully said, is the necessity of having Luffy in questionable situations in which he should not survive, two worst being 3 Admirals and platform with Sengoku.

It´s still nothign to the utter fuckery of shinobi war that reduced every character besides Nasuke to a joke, betrayed the themes of the entire manga and had the worst cop out villain reveal i have ever read.

No it´s not the same level or worse, and claiming so is not speaking for you.
