Maybe the tension is less but defeat is a bad thing too. Especially in one piece where mst people pick death over defeat a lot.

The scabbards were very very fine with dying. That in itself shows that death isn't the big deal here. The big deal was that the scabbards wanted to take kaido with them. They wanted to win. Defeat is worse than death

Kaido killed weak people like hogoro wife. Stop the excuses. The sccabards will get up and fight people and beat them. Its other nonesense.
