You still have to understand that Killer didn't oneshot Zoro because of the other contributing factors that didn't come from Killer. If Oda wanted to show us that Killer oneshot Zoro he wouldn't have focused on his stomach right before he fell or told us he was eating poisonous food from the time he arrived. Both of those had a greater effect on Zoro than Killer's attack.

If you a6 going to fall from an single attack you will fall pretty quickly. If not instantly then at least in the next few seconds. It's not going to happen after you started back fighting. The very first thing that happened after Zoro was hit by Killer's attack was he was playing tug of war with scythe still stuck in his body. That would have cost more damage and greater blood loss. Killer attacked him again which means he thought his last attack wasn't enough to stop Zoro so he has to try to hit him again.

I disagree that Killer was nerf. Based on information you have at this point in time there's nothing since to support that.

People have claimed he was mentally broken yet the manga tells us the only way they was able to make him fight is by using his captain as hostage. That means there was never able to break him. Because if they did they wouldn't have needed to use his captain as hostage.

What's worse people think that someone who's fighting to protect their captain is going to grow weaker. Instead of using the opportunity to grow stronger so they can protect their captain and keep him alive.

I must agree with @Sentinel , King looks underwhelming and I hope Oda change it soon.
Of all firstmate who shown so far Marco is leading the top, my assume for the powerlvls:
1.BenBeckman(either low top tier or mid top tier)
2.Marco(low top tier)
3.Katakuri(High High tier)
4.King

Let see where we put Shiryuu later, right now Marco is at most the impressiv one.
Dealing with two top commanders at once is really a great feat,not only that but he was also able to throw Zoro above.

Sanji will defeat Queen though, so King not destroying Sanji doesn't take away from his hype.

Or maybe it does if you look down on Sanji, but then you should just not look down on him maybe.

King not doing too much, leaves room for him to show more going forward. He will be a bit stronger than Queen for sure, that's why he has the King monicker and his bounty is yet to be revealed.

All I was fucking afraid before this chapter is that Oda will make the finale of this with Luffy saying his line and he did....

Haha well the chapter is called “Strawhat Luffy” so I expected him to say the King of the pirates line.

but nah for me the chapter does feel a little above average because Luffy without fear ATTACKED A YONKO infront of ANOTHER YONKO!

but I’m going to wait until the full summary comes out. Thanks for explaining.

Yeah, but i'm saying that doesn't make King weak. It's hype for Sanji in preparation for his fight with Queen.

We get glimpses of him being on that level, that doesn't take away from King being an exceptional top YC.

If next chapter for example we see King doing great against Marco, that doesn't mean Marco is weak, it's just hype for King.
