I think that Blackbeard's crew will be close to as strong as Rogers when Luffy fights them, so Sanji defeats someone above top YC level when up against the Scopper equivalent in Blackbeard's crew.
And then finally Sanji defeats an Admiral in the Final War.
Most did not agree that Sanji can fight a top YC solo and win before Wano, and those numbers sure took a dip going further into this arc.
Same will be the case with the next significant leap, until we reach that war and people slowly accept it as inevitable.
