Speculations Will Luffy fight Kid at some point?

This is where I disagree I suppose, but it's not a problem. I won't necessarily be proven correct, but to me Luffy's opponents must be determined plot wise first, not CoC wise. Being a conqueror doesn't imply you are obliged to fight off another conqueror, it depends on circumstances.

I doubt it, at this point any rivalry between Luffy and the other Supernovas is irrevelant given the royal treatment he has compared to them, and the fact that in the end they just serve as allies to him during big battles.

CoC is plotwise, otherwise Oda wouldn't give that to him. Circumstances will happen, but I suppose that we'll have to wait another 150 chapters

By plot wise i meant what the plot will suggest will occur, nothing else basically.

Is not that Luffy 'has to fight every CoC user', but they'll end up fighting at some point cause of their nature (CoC is one of the main reasons). It's inevitable.

Nah, I'm sure Oda would portray them as equals like he did up to this point but Luffy would win in the end

Anyway when the fight with Kaido will end we'll have a real, tangible idea of the size of the gap between Luffy and Kidd (personally, I think that it is really small)

If Oda ever made Luffy and Kidd fight I can assure they will be portrayed as equals going into the fight. Whether you agree with it or not. It will be a battle between two guys with the same dream with equal willpower and ambition. Oda wouldn’t make either of them the “underdog” in this fight. That defeats the point of a rivalry battle.

The battle against Doffy was a special case. Although Luffy seemed inferior to Doffy, base Luffy was pretty evenly matched with Doffy, but G4 Luffy was far superior. He only fought alongside Law because of Law's connection to Doffy.

Base Luffy was being ragdolled by Doffy, that's why he had to use G4 and even that wasn't enough to KO a hugely injured Doffy.
In a 1v1 Doffy was clearly superior to both Luffy and Law by the time we were in DR, now it's another story
