For the last time, yes this arc gives great focus on the samurai. But think about what led the Strawhats and the Supernova here. This started in Punk Hazard with Luffy and Laws alliance to take down the Yonko Kaido. This was before any samurai got involved. At the end of the day the Supernova are here to kick Kaido and Big Moms ass to surpass the old generation. Y’all need to get this through your skulls, Wano is not “Zoro’s arc“ it is the conclusion to the Yonko Saga. Yes this arc has themes with Japanese culture and samurai but that does not mean the samurai are the driving point or main focus of this arc. This is One Piece a manga that is about Luffy’s quest to being pirate king and the great pirate era caused by Roger.
These things are the not mutually exclusive. Get this through your skull. Luffy will come out as a Yonko, Kid will get his shine. But this is Zoro's arc and will shine the most. Just wait and see.
Act I and II were pretty much set up for Zoro and Luffy to prepare for Kaido.

Unlike u I don't get hurt over fictional characters. And I'll keep my expectations as high as the Author is suggesting. If He doesn't deliver on his foreshadowing or storytelling, I have better things to read.

It isnt the authors fault if you happen to be wrong on what he was foreshadowing though.

Kidd fans are forgetting who Luffy's real rival in the Worst Generation is.
Oda hasn't foreshadowed Kidd defeating either Kaido or Big Mom, so this talk about Kidd beating Linlin seems like wishful thinking to me. Tbh, I don't see 5 Supernova winning against 2 Yonko at this stage. I think Oda will continue to meme on Big Mom by having Law teleport her into the ocean or something, and then the 5 of them will fight Kaido together. Luffy and Kidd will deal the most damage, but Zoro will deliver the final blow. Cinera has compiled enough evidence in this thread to convince me that this is the most likely outcome.

Honestly, this is one of the biggest problems with this series in the fact that people take every single thing they see as "Foreshadowing" for one thing or another, and ALOT of the times nothing ever comes about it. Not sure how many more times Oda needs to prove that not everything he writes is a "Foreshadow" before people start to get the hint. It's one of the reasons I stopped doing theories, because after awhile you realize that one of the things Oda loves doing the most is subverting expectations, and doing the complete opposite of what he leads you to believe is going to happen.

-Got to build personal connection with Yasui and was main player of Yasui execution plot
-Got Ying Yang thing with Luffy having hot ordeal and Zoro having cold ordeal
-Declared his intention to cut Kaido to pieces and made Yonko commander shit his pants
-Defeated most of ninjas
