Btw you gotta love Kaido literally 5 vs 1,they showed they can damage him, his ally is one of the strongest in the verse that they could probably end the fight in seconds, yet he still wants to enjoy the fight and se his opponents full power
Garp is one of the original characters from proto-One Piece. He is not irrelevant strength wise. Current Garp = Oldbeard. Not sickbeard, but the one that was sparring Shanks.
Garps was Roger's near equal, I hope you wouldn't think a hypothetical "old Roger" would be getting outshone by current generation, when Kaido and Big Mom were confirmed cucked silver medalists to Oldbeard.
Makes sense. Kaido is the type of character who only acknowledge people he recognize as stronger. Roger, Whitebeard and Rocks probably kicked his ass repeatedly, making him acknowledge them as stronger. In Oden's case, he always felt it like a defeat despite winning due to the hostage thing
So from spoilers:
1- kidd does not have advanced Ryuu, huh LOL
2- Oda already knew we would laugh at Law obeying Luffy hahaha and call him subbordinate
3- I would love to see the panel where Kaido saw (Roger/WB/Oden/Xebec)
Finally, the funniest part about the chapter, Kaido did not see Shanks shadow between those people, even though they clashed before Marineford
:holdthisl:
btw did this chapter confirm that FS doesn't really give you a significant advantage against the mighty Yonko.? also, if Kidd thought punching isn't gonna work against Kaido, what was his plan against him..
Then that would mean any run of the mill New World pirate can potentially harm Kaido with the requisite attack power and standard koka.
Which is obviously not the case. You need to have a certain level of flowing ryou in order to breach his durability. Iirc he even suggested they were using ryou when they jumped him. Though slicing attacks seem to be more effective than blunt attacks.
