Unlike others he wants to play he is doing it on purpose he could evade Luffys gear 3 punch but let him attack

Kaido is playing right now he always let's enemies get him hit on purpose without guarding

He swung his club around and still got hit, even if it didnt do any meaningful damage HE SILL TRIED to stop them but failed

Its sad. I had hoped for better

If he had just taken the damage without trying to dodge or stop them, I wouldn't have conceded defeat

Kaido is, unfortunately, a very underwhelming character

so far they’ve all done next to nothing to Kaido. I think we should relax a little before we say Zoro will play the biggest part or kill Kaido. The beginning of this chapter is literally Luffy hype. Would be a bit silly to throw all those panels away just for Zoro to take the spotlight lol

It would be tedious for someone not to damage kaido.
Although the timeline can take away a little of HYPER from rocks and Roger, the duels of GOD VALLEY happened 38 years ago, Kaido had no DF when he fought Roger, and Rocks fought kaido before that too, as he "recruited" him .

He joined Roger in the incident 38 years ago, or managed to match young Kaido, recently DF, 33 years ago when he started recruiting, for me what HYPER deserves most is SHANKS, he managed to impress KAIDO today (2 years ago) , which is stronger than all the versions that the others (shadows) faced.
