Kaido didnt specifically refers to Kidd, Law, and Luffy. Also zoro and Killer was there in the first place so they do are counted. I repeat, by default, Kaido referred to all of them. So it's your headcanon saying Zoro and Killer werent counted

Anyway, i don't have any high stakes on the little monsters thing, i don't care much about that. I'm only interested in showing that Oda played on the three captains / two first mates dynamic this chapter, so he must be a Zoro hater, or some Zoro fans can fuck off calling me that for sayin that he's going to do it.

As things stand Luffy/Kidd/Law > Zoro/Killer > Sanji in my opinion

Things can change one way or another in the future, but now Oda is playing on these dynamics.

We can discuss them as they are now, and then later as they will be.

Where did law progess to the point he could take doffy ? Killer is also there so killer > doffy. kaido can say lots of things, most of the time he is wrong tho ...

I don't know why Oda did not let Zoro and Killer put shallow cuts at least on Kaido after he was comfortable showing Okiku stab his hand all the way through from the get go

My guess is that he just wants to show the progression from not cutting Kaido to being able to, but feels odd given supposed power levels.

@Kuro Ashi The thing you have to understand Zoro being in this fight with 3 captains is already a massive W for him. Its Oda's way of telling you don't underestimate Zoro even if he is not the captain. Oda created a special non-captain supernova and included him in this chapter so that Zoro doesn't look out of place in this fight. It was much easier for Oda to have a Luffy Law Kidd vs Kaido, right?

Think of it this way, Luffy will be the main player and will deal the final blow. Everyone else will be a sideshow including Kidd and Law. Luffy is lucky that Zoro is not competing against him

Why would there be debris flying off an upright kaido after being cut ?

It's pretty much what i said when we first got the chapter 1000 spoilers.

It's a huge honor to have Zoro up there, and have him and Killer support Luffy and Kidd.

It's hype that goes both ways, for Luffy and Kidd for having such subordinates, and for Zoro and Killer for being their First Mates.

This a a big "W" for Zoro.

But when i framed it as such and i was cheering for him i was called a hater, because people were on that Zoro >> Kidd/Law, Zoro > Luffy since the time skip, Zoro already a top tier Kool-aid, and not joining that type of wank makes you a hater.

There's debris splashing from the point where Luffy's naked fist connects with Kaido's naked stomach.

I know that he did not attack his neck, i'm talking about the portrayal of that scene as a whole.

Are you guys really content with this type of reaching ? I don't get trying to invent feats when you deep down know it did not happen as you frame it.

When Zoro will cut Kaido, we will see it. We will see the cut, as shallow as it may be, and comments will be made on it.

I'm curious on @Garp the Fist take on this. Do you agree that Zoro cut Kaido this chapter and caused blood to splatter from his body ?
