People are making fun of Sanji for "betraying" his captain even though Sanji have a good reasons to while nobody talks about Robin, Usopp or Nami. Ironic at its finest.

Robin basically did the same thing.
She stroke a deal with CP9 for the SH's to be able to leave Water7 safely, instead of just dumping them like she was used to.

As dumb as Sanji's plan was..... his only plan was to convince Luffy that he became bad. So Luffy and Nami would escape WCI together and leave him behind. And again it seems like the smartest safest plan that wouldnt need plot to save them.

Sanji's decision would've been way worse in result if Luffy wasn't MC.

Obviously, Luffy didn't see this as a betrayal but from the story perspective, Sanji did betray him in fact.

Once Sanji and Pudding's marriage would be sealed it is a clear example of betrayal because he married himself to the Yonko family.

But seriously though, Oda can't stall Sanji for too long. Sanji say that he have somewhere else to go and Robin and Brook are coming up so I guess after Sanji enjoying all the beatdown from the women Robin will take over and Sanji can finally move on.

To be honest, withoud trolling now....
I think Kaido and BM will be separated, the SH's facing kaido and another group facing BM, or her leaving the fight for some other reason. Theres whole 2 acts to go yet and act 3 isnt even finished, its too early for the main baddies to get rekdt, unless act 3 ends immediately that is.
