He beat him because of his hax, which nobody refutes, but that hax puts him somewhere in the high tier spectrum, because his physical capabilities can´t keep with those guys, hence the claim "if Law could cut a Yonkou, he would be PK lvl" or would have become Pirate King already is nonsense.
Law is in a perfect situation in which he can have the tankier guys confront the Yonkou directly and he can do what he does best, step back and use his hax.

Last time i checked Kaido´s entire schtick is to take attacks because they do nothing to him, and still did nothing to him, not that Kid slammed him to the ground.

Law couldnt slice Doffy, soo no....he cannot, thats why he's trowing rocks at him. That atack he used on Doffy might do damage since its an internal atack with his DF, but no way in hell he can slice kaido or BM in half with his df.
