Honestly, Luffy is just as much of a chosen one/destiny child/prophesied Messiah as Naruto. No, considering that Naruto at least had Sasuke, Luffy is even more so a Messiah. Luffy has no one comparable with their own compelling narrative.

Characters are reduced to mere accessories of Luffy in a way that wasn't as pronounced for Naruto.

Wow, according to my YT Music 2021 Recap, I listened to a single song 3306 times last year.

I'm both surprised and amazed at myself.
