None of the VAs sent to Egghead was hyped up as an Admiral candidate.
If Oda was to give Zoro a strong VA as his opponent, you'd expect it to be one of the Admiral candidates.
A mere 1 billion bounty VA won't cut it anymore after Zoro bested King.

Why would Luffy go from defeating Kaido to a major fight against someone weaker than Kaido?
Luffy's next major fight after Doflamingo was someone even stronger (Katakuri).
Luffy's opponents also usually have bounties higher than his, but Borsalino doesn't.
I think there's a strong argument for Saturn vs Luffy.
A significant contingent of the fandom really thinks current Zoro = Rooftop Zoro.
Either that or they seem to believe the Rooftop was retconned. So many claims/arguments that implicitly ignore Rooftop.
Rooftop Zoro is still stronger than the likes of Jimbe/Sanji.
King of Hell Zoro is in another realm entirely.
He mid diffs his Rooftop self.
At this point I'll take Zoro vs S-Hawk rematch over Zoro vs a Vice Admiral.
Sorry Lolda, but S-Hawk has better portrayal than the vice admirals.
After catching up with Egghead, I got the sense that Zoro's portrayal was closer to Luffy than to Sanji power level wise.
Lucci wasn't distinguished from Kaku either in ability (both are Awakened Zoans) or portrayal (Stussy called both of them strong without singling out Lucci).
Of course Luffy didn't use Haoshoku coating, but neither did Zoro either.

Zoro + Sanji vs Borsalino seems pretty unlikely to me.
Luffy is his most likely opponent.
But there's an argument for Zoro stalemating Borsalino:
* Payback for Sabaody; things are different this time
* Parallel of "Dark King" Rayleigh stalemating Borsalino
* Borsalino often fights RHM (Marco, Rayleigh)
* Borsalino is Sakazuki's top subordinate
* Etc.

Eh, Zoro has been paired up with Luffy throughout Egg Head much more consistently than Sanji:
* Both fought Awakened Zoan CP 0 users
* Both stayed behind during the Vegapunk search
* Both fought the Seraphim that came to kill CP 0 and Vegapunk
* Both teamed up with CP 0 against Seraphim
* Etc.
What's the consensus here on Rob Lucci's power level?
For a fruitless character like Benn Beckman there is no basis for placing him above Zoro until/unless he shows Haoshoku coating.
Mere Busoshoku/Kenbushoku won't cut it.
BTW, who was Sanji fighting while Zoro and Luffy were fighting Lucci and Kaku?

It's annoying, but Zoro still hasn't had a serious solo fight with a Top Tier.
I feel like Post King of Hell, he would obviously perform better than Yamato.
It's wild to me that people place Yamato, 1010 Luffy, Law and even Kidd above Post Wano Zoro.
The Kidd is YC 3 takes are dumb, but so are the "Kidd is stronger than Zoro" takes.
Even if you scale Kidd to Law (feels unwarranted given how both performed against Emperors solo), Zoro still has the superior portrayal.
He's one of a handful of the very strongest.
And Kaido already told us that haki reigns supreme.

Wano was objectively a disappointment for Zoro's character.
So many Zoro plots went nowhere:
* Zoro rounding up the Samurai
* Kaido detecting Oden's presence in Enma
* Kaido declaring that we'll never see a Monster Samurai of the likes of Kozuki Oden again
* Zoro's comparisons with Ryuma
* "The Second Coming of Ryuma"
* Zoro visiting Ryuma's grave
* The Grim Reaper
Either:
A. Shiryu gets a massive power up before facing Zoro
B. Zoro stomps Shiryu
C. Or Zoro is a low diff for Top Tiers -
