Ironically the arcs in which Luffy was more rational in thoughts and actions were the same arcs he lost his crew, his brother ace, motivation to become pirate king.
Most of the Zolo fans are childish clowns. They can't accept good moments of other characters. They even twist it into a bad narrative and if they can't, they will cry about how trash the plot was and how other characters shouldn't get such 'good' moments. For example, they mock Sanji for carrying heavily injured and impotent Zolo and conveniently forgot that Zolo did the same thing few chapters back.
World will end before act 3 in One Piece.
Comedy is gold in the recent chapter. This chapter is perfect one piece representation. Oda really excels when it comes to comedy.
