I'd appreciate Oda making up his mind tho and not selling the character as something that he (Zoro) no longer is. Why introduce the Wano heritage, the connection to the locals and his interest in Ryuma to begin with? Notice that Ryuma was first shown in Thriller Bark aka at least a decade before Wano. Why tease something like that and then never deliver?!? It's extremely frustrating when the author builds suspense and expectations only to laugh the readers in the face.
