Even at a fraction of his power being able to summon the water dragon god is a massive boost to Lucy's power
Lucy's growth over the course of fairy tail has been monumental and this opens the gates to even greater power
Now that we know she isn't just a celestial wizard but a summoner
This may just be the beginning, maybe the other dragon gods have keys ?
Or keys for demons

He fights a dragon, he can't use dragon slayer magic and is weaker than Viernes but still doesn't use devil slayer magic? I don't know why Mashima once gave him that power lol
But it seems that Mashima plans to give all members of Natsu team power ups, so maybe Gray will get a new power up against Viernes and learn to use alchemy? I think Makarov said in the Viernes arc that Grays magic is like Alchemy?
I don't know if she will get keys from another dragons but demons could happen, Faris has a servant who can probably summon demons and his name is "Gate" so I assume, Lucy will fight against him later?
Zoldeo the guy from Grimoire Heart was a summoner, he could summon death (?) humans and the other guy from Grimoire Heart too, Rustyrose was his name, he could use his magic to summon or create a monster. I don't know anymore if this was summon magic too or not.

Rusty was more a conjurer than a summoner he could conjure creations from his imagination but summoners summon people and creatures that already exist
As for Zoldeo he was a celestial spirit wizard like Lucy and somehow his spirit took over Capricorn's body after he died, idk if it was ever explained how but I don't recall him ever summoning death
I had forgotten about Zoldeo. We don't see him use keys and he summoned dead people, though, right? It feels different from summoning existing spirits or dragons from afar.
Rustyrose was definitely different, I remember his power was about manifesting his imagination into reality.
Zoldeo while in Capricon's body summoned some historic warriors like a chinese-looking one with a halberd. I think that was his original dark magic.

I read up his magic in the wiki and the wiki says " It also allows the user to kidnap and summon one or multiple humans to aid themselves in battle, which means that, in terms of Caprico, it is essentially a reverse version of Celestial Spirit Magic."
But I don't know if they are dead or still alive because I think some of them lived in different ages or even centuries?

I don't know how CSK power compares to a Dragon God, though, I'm too much of a casual reader regarding FT power scaling.
True, I didn't remember to be honest. However...
There are a lot of things that could have been mentioned before, like Dragon Gods and any other beings having keys and celestial spirit summoners being just a kind of summoner. So if we are going to introduce new concepts anyway, they can come up with a better way to summon the man.
