I really hope Gray will finaly get some good moments in this manga lol
If he doesn't get a power up and a good fight......that would be so sad for Gray fans....
But you will probably be right with that, that Selene will fight against Viernes and Gray and or Wendy will destroy his lacrima. But I think his lacrima will be protect by the fire maker guy and maybe one of the sisters?
Yeah he got some screentime but at the end of the chapter Wendy appeared....so....the readers can only hope that Gray will still get more screentime in the next few chapters.

He has been a fucking fodder the whole fucking sequel lmao

Even less then a fodder. He never used ice devil slayer magic, he lost against Skullion and never got the chance to defeat him...but Laxus defeated Skullion offscreen with probably a one shot spell
The poor guy never had the chance to shine in the sequel. It's finaly time that he use his devil slayer magic against the fire maker/fire devil slayer guy and to get a new power up and like Yoho I think it will be a alchemy power up. At least he deserves it, but I don't know if Mashima and Ueda like him that much.

Yep with the power of Merc she is currently the strongest character beside the DG and probably Faris.
