I do, thats exactly what I did thanks a lot man.

I managed to kill the first boss thanks to this, it was annoying to roll witht he keyboard before.

Another tip as fromer M+K player is to put heavy attack on a comfortable button, i liked shift/a extra button on mouse or number 1 ( above W ) or even CTR button
My favorite was CTR button, but try and look what you find most comfortable
Heavy attacks are broken in ER thanks to stance breaking system

You need to fall down into the hole to get the tutorial. If you go straight for the door, you can miss that there's even a hole there.

Tho you can always comeback and take the tutorial again.

Tree sentinel is a moderately high level enemy. Put there to teach the players that not all fights are worth fighting. It's recommend that you come back to fight him after exploring and leveling a bit.

Maybe you're only exploring limgrave?

There's a lot of places to check out lol. Check the map. There will be small shining icons to indicate map fragments. Go there and collect them.

Not sure i found a cavern and was immediately murdered by Goblins

What ever fits you but I'd highly recommend Faith/int builds ER has so many fun spells

All builds are equally broken imo lol
I had easiest time playing strength/stance breaking builds tbh
But some people have it easier with magic, also pretty much every OP spell that used to one shot and "ruin" the game is nerfed, the "Magic op" discussion is old news.

Ill use rivers of blood then

I beat game 6 times dlc 3 times any my tactic was always the same. Suffer and endure until you get rivers of blood . Sadly you get this weapon when you are near the end of game , thats one of the issues I have with some games in general you only get good stuff late in the game which makes them only good for new game plus assuming game has it.

That entirely depends on bosses you are fighting . For me there is some boss who is such a nightmare for my melee build but I had such easy time with him on my sorceries build.

BTW any update how far did you get, like what map areas did you discovered and what are last bosses you did encounter ?
