Hey guys, thought Id make a separate thread to keep yall updated about my Elden Rings Journey if you are interested as Im about to start it. Wish me luck!

Go through it blind, Don't worry about guides or anything. Learn, Discover etc...

@Fujishiro also look out for the midgets that make the ground shake. You'll know if you run into them lol

It's fairly easy to miss lots of useful items so be sure to clean each area from down to top, in case you do miss, there's always a subreddit to get them.

There're especially things called whetblades that can modify your weapon's damage type + skill, some of which are missable on first playthrough, that's where the guides come useful imo; as you would inevitably want to check what X enemy is weak to, to a adjust your armament with.

Focus on vigor and weapon upgrade early on, other stats can wait.

I learned how its space then rapid cliking in a certain direction.

not rapid clicking after space.

You always have fingers on the WASD

you should almost always be moving. And when an attack comes, just press space as you move.

Do you have a gaming mouse? If you have extra buttons on the mouse you can use them as roll button, thats what i did and it was really comfortable

I do, thats exactly what I did thanks a lot man.

I managed to kill the first boss thanks to this, it was annoying to roll witht he keyboard before.
