Exactly.

If Luffy had stronger CoC, he could have beaten the Gorosei. But, the Gorosei have CoC, too; Luffy needed to over-ride both their CoC, and the Abyss Regen with his attacks, and he lacked the Haki to do so.

Joy Boy has Haki that probably surpassed Roger's, so, Joy Boy's Haki could shut down the Gorosei's Summoning Magic that Saturn used, and knocked Saturn back to his ship, and the rest of the Gorosei back to Marijoa.

Since Gunko doesn't have CoC herself, but is having Imu's CoC Infused into her, Luffy/Zoro should be able to fight her.

Since Loki was injured by Gunko, and now Imu is possessing Gunko, I can see Loki getting a good hit off, too.

People hate on Haki, but, without it, this entire series would just be a Devil Fruit vs Seastone/Water festival.
People coped about Kaido having no clue, but as someone who was on Xebec's ship, knows about Joyboy and ancient history, chose Wank for tactical reasons and has one of the most powerful fruits, he should know better than the average reader.

If you do not have top tier Haki which is at least sky splitting level, you won't reach the top.

If Imu can possess Gunko this way, does it open the idea that the body of Imu right now may also just be someone being possessed by them?
Maybe Imu ain't being hidden to keep their appearance itself a secret but what if its a case of Imu has always been in possession of someone we know?

:choppawhat:
Interesting theory tbh

Imu is just Orochimaru if that's true

It’s probably just always been Gunko when we see him. That’s why Gunkos arrows were used to one shot sabo.

I think Imu will summon the rest of the HK and Gorosei abandoning Mariejoa and instead focusing on conquering Elbaf to strengthen his army to reclaim it later.
I don’t think so he emphasized that he needs people there immediately

There’s no time for that you don’t wanna take people away from the holy land in the middle of a siege

it’s probably gonna be

monster trio + Loki vs gunko/imu & killingham (not sure if sommers is out for the count)

I’m guessing either IMU will be forced to retreat them or someone reaches the throne room and he has to come back

You take what you can get with Loda
Zoro already looked good vs Gaban and this chapter further upscale him.

He stopped a stronger attack when he saved luffy in the island sized castle.

The raw power demonstrated by gaban when.he attacked luffy was magnitude above what he did vs Sommer yet zoro stopped it without powering up.

Kizaruber Eats

Joyboy reveal when?
Usopp is going to snipe Imu all the way from the Sun World to the Heaven World

:willight:
NGL, "God Usopp" sniping the self declared "God of the world" from the "Heaven Realm" in front of his own beloved idols the giants would be fucking peak fiction. We just need Skypeians who made a statue of Usopp and same with the Tontattas who made one for him and glaze him too and Enel the previous self declared god who found the mural on the moon too, to witness this too.

You don't know the difference between ap and dc huh?

also doesn't know what aoe is

you should not powerscale

That would mean Gunko's body has multiple dfs

Cause imu transformed into a huge devil like thing there

Which would be kinda trash cause BB loses his specialness
It depends how oda plays it for me. If Oda makes it that Gunkos body is hosting part of Imus soul, then it kinda fits for me because we know the soul can hold a devil fruit power (look at Brook) but it’s still separated cause it’s two souls.

Why does it feel like 9/11 around here :risitears:
Probably because this chapter pretty much signaled the start of the true endgame. I mean, the Revolutionaries are finally attacking the Celestial Dragons and the "weaker" Straw Hats are about to inadvertently face off with the final boss of the story. Imagine how hellish the next chapter's going to be.
