If joyboy were adam wouldn’t luffy as the last progenitor be a parallel to noah? hes even tied through fate to the boat Noa and flooding is such a major threat.

I don't think it's on purpose
No writer is sitting down thinking to themselves let me copy the bible
It's a natural processes and you just end up there

1: whatever world you are creating had someone at the beginning
2: someone did something and then thing got bad
3: mc is the hero that's gonna save everyone
4: bad guy is opposed to mc and wants to corrupt everything
Etc..
Bible is just peak storytelling and covered all of the aspects. You can't help but end up similar to it.

Doesn’t one piece basically have the same plot as wheel of time?

I haven’t read the books I know the general lore and it sounds similar.

Rand Al Thor is the reincarnation of this hero who exists in every generation with the power to save or destroy the world.

It's all so tiresome.....

Good thing is I'm slowly getting over the sunken cost/investment stage and am increasingly becoming more and more apathetic. I skip chapters often.

I used to be looking forward to Imu, gorosei in the past. Egghead and Elbaf has killed that.
Blackbeard and his goons aren't having the same energy they did pre wano.

This series bores me now

I liked it best when IMU was inspired by that goofy Egyptian Pacman-ghost-looking dude, and when BB had the hippo fruit.
