What was the last movie you watched?

Jaguark101

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings"
‎‎
"Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning" (2025) - 4/5

Tom cruise delivers yet again, Some people complained about the pacing but honestly to me the movie flew by. Go see it in the cinema, its worth it! Especially for the Underwater sequence.

I've been following the Terrifier film series since the second film's theatrical run.
I discovered this film series when I saw an article about it on ScreenRant, then I watched the first movie on the RidoMovies website. The first movie was a stinker with no story to speak of, but that's where the movies's merit lies. Things from the first movie reverberated in the second and built a real story. I saw the second movie in theater and decided to follow the series.
It's a thrilling story. Art is an enigmatic villain whose mysteries need to be solved to defeat him once and for all, and the action is great while being grounded on reality.
It seems like the third movie is the beginning of a character arc for Jonathan as the male lead. I hope for more focus on his dynamic with Sienna. The two have the potential to go down in history as a great brother and sister character duo.

Terrifier is a fun watch for horror fans and I was really surprised at how not-bad the series was when I watched it
The most recent one is a bit too try hard at times, just in my opinion.

I finally watched Sinners. There are some things I can nitpick, but overall it was entertaining. The cast gave strong performances. When Grace invited the vampires in, that was the "oh shit" moment for me. It was both idiotic and understandable, but I'm surprised they could even put up a fight against the vampires with their lack of numbers. 3.5/5.

The next movie I plan to watch, this time in theaters, is 28 Years Later. Jack O'Connell, who played Remmick, will also play the main villain in this film. Quite a successful year for him.
