Loki may have a better backstory and more detail because he was denied by Rocks to join his crew so he won't spoil any important events in the fb and his journey is short being stopped by Shanks early

Kaido on the other hand join Rocks crew by personal invitation and his backstory could have spoiled many future events even after post God Valley.
So Oda has no choice.

i myself calced op like 5-6 continental feats(petatons and above+), u guys just mad because "cool godlike ninjas" have trash feats. Or dont understand what is "feats" (spoier,big explosions got quite low results in terms of energy)

Naruto is kind of a strange series powerscaling wise.

Everyone was super weak for 600+ chapters and then suddenly we got Juubidara and the verse jumped like 5 tiers.

The pacing is good but I expected more from Harald's story
"He fell in love and changed" is the most basic way to write his character
He was an absolute asshole, so I expected something more complicated and new

Same. But Oda lost too much time in the past,so now he is forced to be faster in his way to tell the story. The Oda of 10 years ago would have had probably wrote the Harald part in a more detailed way
