But still until oda actually does something with these three I dont see them any different from Bogard.

If Oda actually does develop flamingo like you want then you can argue Doffy is a deep character. But as of now, dudes just as shallow as Enel.

Doffy is easily better written than Enel LMAO. Enel is cool but he’s pretty shallow as well

Croc is a toss up I don’t even care to argue. The difference in aura is because Oda went with a different storytelling structure with Croc. Where Croc was always one step ahead of the good guys, Doffy started the arc with his back against the wall, and has to scramble to get back in control

Can't think of a 5th that is clear cut, the 4 above are clear cut to me. Shanks and Sabo might be competing for that 5th spot, but they can potentially recover, Shanks moreso than Sabo.

What about Hancock? I think people overlook just how awful of a character she is just because it’s been hundreds of chapters since she was relevant. She started off as an unlikable bitch who was mean to everyone for no reason, even her own people, and then all of a sudden we’re supposed to love her because she became Luffy’s number 1 simp. Even the fact that she’s supposed to be actually strong, given that she’s a Warlord, gets completely overlooked by Oda and he just focusing on her being obsessed with Luffy. She’s just blatantly written to be fanservice for gooner simps who wish they could have a bad bitch thirsting over them. The fact that she frequently makes the top 10 in the popularity polls is honestly even more embarrassing than Chopper, Carrot, and Sabo making the top 10

What about Hancock? I think people overlook just how awful of a character she is just because it’s been hundreds of chapters since she was relevant. She started off as an unlikable bitch who was mean to everyone for no reason, even her own people, and then all of a sudden we’re supposed to love her because she became Luffy’s number 1 simp. Even the fact that she’s supposed to be actually strong, given that she’s a Warlord, gets completely overlooked by Oda and he just focusing on her being obsessed with Luffy. She’s just blatantly written to be fanservice for gooner simps who wish they could have a bad bitch thirsting over them. The fact that she frequently makes the top 10 in the popularity polls is honestly even more embarrassing than Chopper, Carrot, and Sabo making the top 10

The fact that people like her despite her being an awful person is literally the point of her character. She can be an unlikable and annoying bitch but people will still be fans of her “because she’s beautiful” as she says time and time again.

She’s legit very well written. Just cause you don’t like a character doesn’t mean they’re badly written

The fact that her characters written to show that pretty privilege in anime and manga is a legit thing and such a shit character can still be popular if they look good, and does it well makes her well written.

Kaido and Big Mom were not well written villains. Hell they genuinely didn’t even feel like they were planned based on how disappointing both were.

The best written yonko are buggy and Blackbeard. Those two have still been some of odas best work and I’m sure shanks still also be up there once oda gives him more focus. Just knowing shanks is living a life he didn’t want is interesting so hopefully Oda expands more on that.

What you smoking? BM is the most well-written Yonko Oda has given us so far:

-Interesting backstory that's tragic and ties deeply to the events of a future arc
-Clear goals with multiple facets towards that goal including becoming PK, using science to gigantify, create a paradise with all races
-History with multiple Yonkos including brother-sister relationship with Kaido
-Powers that are far more creative and interesting than just 'muh black lightning'
-Knows much more than she leads on, including hints to OP, Lunarian race, God Valley events, etc
-Arrogant personality that becomes her own downfall yet endears her as an avenger that won't accept defeat even till the very end
-Contrast age visual appearance that shows her decline but leaves imagination open as to how she was when she was still beautiful

Oda put a lot of thought into BM despite being a secondary villain in Wano. The fact she keeps getting mentioned and her powers referenced also shows Oda actually likes the fat bitch on the side

Outside of the Luffy stuff she's fine. Her being an unlikeable bitch is when she's at her best. But yea once she became a Luffy simp you have a legit case.

The problem is that Oda clearly thinks we’re SUPPOSED to like her just because she started twerking for Luffy, despite the fact that she’s still an awful person to everyone else. Also doesn’t help that being a Luffy simp became her entire personality
