Chs 1400 - 1500: the SHs fight the BBPs; they all win, except Luffy. As Luffy is about to be defeated by BB, we get the beginning of a flashback.

They count the volume amount not the years. Though I don't doubt it might as well be wrong as well.

We just reached volume 112. Until 130 more or less he got 180 chapters. If he can restrict himself from bloating the series and at the same time dropping storylines he might finish around the mark they said. I give him 10 % he doesn't miss the mark.

This series is definitely eclipsing Volume 120 for sure lol. Elbaf probably will hit 116-118 in the least and its obvious Laugh Tale isnt even next because Lodestar still hasnt been seen yet (you have to physically reach that point before the RPs can be used to go past it).
But even conservatively, that would imply 2 more arcs beyond Elbaf, and considering there are 2-4 main antagonists left for Luffy depending on what one can assume (being Shamrock, Akainu, Blackbeard and Imu), it wouldnt surprise me if there are more than 2 arcs to fit that (depending on what Elbaf achieves)
With that, 130 or even 140 should be considered at this point.

Imo its one of the most accomplishing arcs in the series and Im glad it exists.
