It was never over.
But some marines fans bitterness toward the Zoro fandom lead them to gaslight some Sanji fans into thinking that « they win and that it is Zorover »:kayneshrug:

And obviously like any anti-Zoro agenda it ultimately fell flat on its head.:myman:
The thing is Mihawk > Shanks didn't change anything about this whole incident with Gaban, the same reason why it's over for Shanks is why it's over for Zoro. Sanji fans can leech off anything Zoro does now till the end of time.

There will be noticeable gap between Roger, Rayleigh and Gaban. Its similar to the Kaido-Big Mom dynamic. Oda might hype Big Mom with "Two Kaido" statements, but in reality - Kaido was clearly superior to Big Mom.
Leeching ain't fun when you're on the opposite end, but now Sanji fans can leech away! Wings, common enemies, once Sanji gets ACoC it's over.

lol, true that. But Mihawk at least has his title. Sanji is leeching based on a gag rivalry.

BTW when will Sanji get AdCoC? It seems even Zoro doesn't have control over his power by now.
Never I'm telling y'all oda will make do with Power of love. So far he has shown no sign of Conqueror.

Talking about parallels , ZenZu just being a hypocrite when Luffy had AdCoC and Zoro has AdCoC. They ain't rival or even equal but Sanji will be apparently.

On top of that. PEOPLE calling Xebdc as Blackbeard Parallel look at their power sets.

Xebec - Conqueror. Swordsman.
Blackbeard - Strongest Logia. Strongest Paramacia.

Just because they are parallel to someone doesn't mean they will parallel in terms of abilities too.

Gaban - Conqueror. Axe-Man
Sanji - heat/Flames , Exoskeleton.

Going two different ways.
Gaban Conqueror was expected as there wasn't much option to go with if you're a weapon holder.

Zenzu is mad since the last chapter 😂😂

Lmao sure. Wasnt Gaban also standing shoulder to shoulder with Roger as well?

Better pray you are right
Anyone who takes that “shoulder to shoulder” statement to mean that Roger~Ray~Gaban or even EoS Luffy~EoS Zoro~EoS Sanji is a straight up retard, but so is anyone who still believes Zoro beats Sanji with anything less than high diff at minimum

Jinbe said in raws that Gaban and Rayleigh are equal there's no noticeable gap :risisure:
ChatGPT says counterpart is not equal.

Does "counterpart" in general mean "equal"?

🟨 No — "counterpart" does not necessarily mean "equal".

✅ What "counterpart" does mean:

A counterpart is:

"a person or thing that has a similar function, role, or position in a different place, time, or system."

It implies similarity in role or function, but not necessarily equality in status, power, value, or characteristics.

🔍 Examples:

  • Political Context:
"The German Chancellor met her U.S. counterpart."
→ Both are heads of government, but they may not have equal power or responsibilities.
  • Corporate Context:
"The marketing director spoke with his counterpart in another firm."
→ They have similar titles, but not necessarily equal budgets, team size, or influence.

I tried to use DeepSeek and it gave the same answer. Maybe you're all just wrong and need more basic reading comprehension lesson.

The word "counterpart" does not necessarily mean "equal" in a general sense, though it can imply similarity or equivalence in certain contexts.
Key Meanings of "Counterpart":
  1. A person or thing that corresponds to or has the same function as another in a different context.
    • Example: The U.S. President met with his French counterpart (the French President).
    • Here, "counterpart" means an equivalent role, not necessarily equal in power or status.
  2. A matching or complementary part.
    • Example: The agreement requires signatures from both parties and their counterparts.
  3. Something that is similar in position, purpose, or structure but not identical.
    • Example: The smartphone's Android counterpart has similar features but a different operating system.
Does "Counterpart" Mean "Equal"?
  • Sometimes, but not always.
  • It suggests functional or positional equivalence, but not necessarily equality in status, ability, or value.
  • Example: A manager in Company A and a manager in Company B are counterparts, but one may have higher pay or authority.
Key Difference:
  • Equal = exactly the same in value, status, or rights.
  • Counterpart = holds a similar position or role, but may differ in other ways.

The point I was making is that kids are so fried that they don't even try to write their own thoughts or opinions.
Just write a few keywords and send them to the internet-opinion-aggregator and voila.
